Parallax Instruments, Inc., founded in 1991, is a full-time business devoted to the manufacture of precision astronomical telescopes and equatorial mountings. Armed with a fully equipped machine shop our experienced machinists are capable of turning out just about any custom job. Our professional welder has produced some of the finest observatory piers, each carefully engineered for function and strength. Our motto is "If you can sketch it, we most likely can build it." The views that were obtained of Mars, when the atmosphere cooperated were simply out of this world, so to speak. A magnification of 600X was used with no sign of image breakdown.
